Here is a letter to my house from ITE and it say:

April 2007 Nitec to Higher Nitec Progression Intake Exercise

1 We are pleased to inform you that you have been shortlisted for second year of the Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering ( Quality Engineering) course conducted at ITE College East under the Apr 2007 intake. The course will commence on 16 Apr 07

2 You must first accept your posting to the first year of the Higher Nitec course that you are posted to at http://estudent.ite.edu.sg between Thu 8 Mar 07 and Tue 13 Mar 07. After that, Please indicate your decision to the offer for direct entry to second year of your posted course in the Acceptance Form enclosed and submit the completed form to the counter staff when you report to your posted campus for registration between Mon 26 Mar 07 and Wed 28 Mar 07. A separate letter on the registration procedures will be sent to you.
